For our fourth interview we’ve met Florisse & Germain who live in Paris, 20th.
1.L’EF – In which district do you live?
F&G – “We live in Belleville area, between the 11th, the 19th and the 20th district”.
2.L’EF – If you must describe your district, what would you say?
F&G – “It’s a colorful and lively area, where merge vegan juice bar, Moroccan groceries and Chinese stores”.
3.L’EF – What do you like in this area?
F&G – “Time goes another way at Belleville. Why? Because we take the high road living on the hillock! We particularly like the multicultural atmosphere and the view we get on Paris downtown”.
4.L’EF – What are your favorite local shops & restaurants?
F&G – “To climb back on foot the Belleville street, discover the small Italian grocery: “Fine L’Epicerie” – 30 rue de Belleville, 75020 Paris, their spicy dried beef is delicious!
A bit more on top, go laze at the library: “Le genre urbain”- 60 Rue de Belleville, 75020 Paris. In addition to be very kind, their selection is worth the trip. Art history lovers, you’ll find some rare gem.
If you like olive, you must try the almond olive at “L’épicerie du Caire” – 60 Rue de Belleville, 75019 Paris. For drinks or dinner, we appreciate the outside sitting area: “Mon Coeur de Belleville” – 1 Rue des Envierges, 75020 Paris

6.L’EF – What will you advise to do to a couple who get ready for a trip to Paris?
F&G – “To flirt at Buttes Chaumont garden, to get lost in Marais little streets…”
7.L’EF – What is your best spot to take an unforgettable picture of Paris?
F&G – “Belleville panoramic viewpoint – 27 Rue Piat, 75020 Paris: The only place where you can see Paris entirely, being there at the same time!
But there is no place which allows to capture the essence of the city in one picture. Each district has its own identity and singularity”.
8.L’EF – What do you think of “L’Esprit Français” concept?
F&G – “It’s a great concept ! To get people discover French products, their know-how and the story of French brands is a beautiful way to complete or extends travelers trip in Paris or get a souvenir once they are back home”!
